ROCHELLE WILTSHIRE

General Manager
Psychologist/Injury Management Consultant

Rochelle has a professional background specialising in rehabilitation counselling, human resources, and organisational psychology, having completed her MBA qualification through Murdoch University.  Rochelle has worked in the workers compensation industry in a number of roles over a 28 year period including psychology, human resource management, vocational rehabilitation consulting, claims and injury management, case management of the long term unemployed, self-insurance, and insurer based injury management.

Rochelle worked as the internal manager of workers compensation for several multinational employers before moving to an insurer based role, where she was both a Team Leader and Injury Management Advisor, including performance monitoring of panel rehabilitation providers. She is therefore a key identifier of those qualities and service issues that are essential for superior injury management performance.  She has continued to maintain a comprehensive knowledge of the State and Comcare based workers compensation systems, and has developed policy and procedural programs for an extensive number of state and national based employer groups on both an internal and consultancy basis.

LAUREN WOJAS

Exercise Physiologist/Injury Management Consultant

Lauren is an accredited Exercise Physiologist who has worked in the workers compensation industry in a number of roles since 2013. The majority of her roles have included educating and mentoring self-insurers and employers within the local governments of Western Australia to meet their legislative requirements for injury management. She possesses directly relevant experience in the in-house employer based responsibility for claims and injury management, and also has experience within the mining industry, having worked in fly-in fly-out roles herself. Lauren is well experienced in providing strategic case management of injured workers claims including liaising with all key stakeholders, monitoring workplace rehabilitation and allied health providers, and conducting workplace and ergonomic assessments. She is passionate about supporting her clients to achieve effective and sustainable return to work outcomes in a timely and cost effective manner. 

SIAN WATTS

Occupational Therapist/Injury Management Consultant

Sian is a dedicated and motivated Occupational Therapist, with additional training and direct work experience in occupational health and safety, injury management, and vocational rehabilitation since 2011. She has facilitated initial, ergonomic and worksite assessments, manual handling technique training, incident investigation, risk analysis and hazard control, in addition to compliance auditing with occupational safety and health legislation. She has also developed internal company occupational safety and health documentation for several companies in Western Australia. Sian is also involved in teaching at Curtin University, assisting with education in Ergonomics and Safety Science, a role where she has expanded her knowledge base in relation to ergonomic occupational therapy, industry expectations, and legislature.

KATY LONSDALE

Occupational Therapist/Injury Management Consultant

Katy is a qualified and registered Occupational Therapist who has worked in injury management since 2009. A majority of Katy’s roles have included consulting across metropolitan and regional local government jurisdictions in Queensland and Western Australia. Katy is proficient in providing advice, education and support to ensure that employers meet and exceed their legislative requirements for injury management under the Act. She is also well experienced in providing case management of injured worker’s files, claims reviews, monitoring workplace rehabilitation and allied health providers, presentations to senior management, supervisors and managers regarding the injury management process, roles and responsibilities within the process, in addition to general and strategic case/claims conferencing. She is also able to undertake workplace/workstation and ergonomic assessments for injury prevention.

AMANDA KEATING

(Queensland/NSW Office)
Rehabilitation Counsellor/Injury Management Consultant

Amanda graduated with a Bachelor of Psychology Degree with Honours in 2010, and holds full membership with the Australian Society of Rehabilitation Counsellors (ASORC).  Amanda commenced her postgraduate career as a Rehabilitation Consultant performing occupational rehabilitation services before an opportunity arose to consolidate her skills as a Provisional Psychologist in 2012. In this role, Amanda focused on individual and group counselling services, psychometric assessment, and delivering evidence based interventions.  She has also worked with ‘Multicultural Australia’ in a case manager role, refining her advocacy skills and consolidating her cultural awareness and sensitivities with this client group.  Amanda has also worked for a Not for Profit organisation in Toowoomba and the Darling Downs region, which focused on mental health and family wellbeing. This role has provided her with extensive knowledge of free or fully funded services for her clients, which is invaluable for the long term care of clients once their insurance funded services have been exhausted.  Amanda has over 9 years’ experience as a Rehabilitation Counsellor within life insurance, workers compensation and Comcare accreditation schemes, and has also worked extensively with the Veteran client group. 

MATT THOMSON

Senior Physiotherapist

Matt originally attained his Bachelor of Science in Human Movement at UWA, followed by a Diploma of Education (Physical Education).  This formed the foundation of Matt’s interest in injury management and physical rehabilitation, which he further developed with his completion of a Bachelor of Science in Physiotherapy.  Matt has a keen interest in the diagnosis and treatment of spinal pain and sporting injuries, with swimming, golf and football being his passion areas.  Matt has spent considerable time working with local elite sporting teams including East Fremantle Football Club and University Football Club.  He has ongoing commitments in the field of physical rehabilitation and Pilates, including one-on-one hydrotherapy and gym programmes.  Matt also provides on-site physiotherapy services to various corporate workplaces, and is a qualified Anatomical Acupuncture practitioner.

Michelle Hanratty

Counselling Psychologist

Michelle is a Registered Psychologist and Full Member of the Australian Psychological Society with over 26 years’ experience. During this time, Michelle has undertaken work in the area of workers compensation assisting clients who have experienced physical or psychological workplace injuries. She has also undertaken extensive work as a Counselling Psychologist including EAP counselling, critical incident debriefing, staff management, training and coaching.  Michelle’s work experience extends to roles such as the Regional Psychologist for a large Government department assisting with staff counselling, mediation, conflict resolution, self-care training and promoting positive mental health.
